| General Overview | Holly is not an arrogant or overbearing character but she can be assertive and even stubborn at times given the need. She doesnt mind being alone but enjoys companionship of friends too. Holly dislikes arguments and will try to find a middle-ground but can also 'dig her heels in' if she feels the situation demands it. She won't give up easily and would call herself tenacious. |

| Personal History | She was born 29/12 2368 the younger child of Jonathan and Anne Meadows in Shropshire England. She is close in age and affection to her brother John. He is now an engineer in SF She attended a local school in Ludlow to the age of 11 when she transferred to St Kyneburgas Academy, a prestigious private school in Shrewsbury. Her father is the principal there. She enjoyed her school days on the whole although not an outstanding pupil, she did well in her exams. The school ran an exchange system for older students. In 2384 Hollys brother took part in that, exchanging with a student from Iowa. She missed her brother, was envious of his travels but at the same time she and her girlfriends began to have boyfriends of their own and her thoughts were turning from childhood to young adult. Holly was brought up to believe that beauty lies in a persons character not in their physical features. She still believes this yet that doesnt mean she neglects her appearance. She is perhaps more attractive than she thinks. Holly broke her left arm when she was 12. She was trying to scale a waterfall at the time and slipped, breaking her arm and receiving deep lacerations to her neck, arm and legs.She suffered concussion and has a very faint scar behind her left ear as a result of this accident. By the age of eighteen her interest was set on a medical career and after discussion with her parents who fully supported her choice albeit with silent misgivings on her mothers part, she applied to join StarFleet. Four years later she graduated as a medical officer junior grade and began her eighteen months training at Copernicus City Lunar Hospital. She found that both thrilling and scary at the same time. Her hard won medical knowledge at times seemed inadequate but she gained confidence and enjoyed her time there putting into practice what she had set her heart to do. At the hospital she made friends with a trainee nurse Sally Miller. They became very good friends sharing good and not so good times, crying on each others shoulders, laughing alot and becoming confidantes. They both applied for StarShip placements and both were successful. |
