| Physical Description | Leonardo is a lean individual physically with a face that is both attractive as it is handsomely chiselled. Sticking true to the 'Healthy body healthy mind' mantra his uniform will hide a toned and well defined body. A tatoo on his right shoulder of a tribal design is the only marking. He likes to be clean shaven all the time, apparently it throws off his looks and appeal. |

| Personal History | Leonardo lead what could be considered a typically average life, a little rough around the edges in his youth got him into trouble every now and then but nothing serious or note worthy. While doing well in school he was far above the average student but at the time took it less seriously than he should have, his parents were unhappy at the slack attitude. They sent him to a boarding school in the hopes that it would shape him up into a model student as properly instil some understanding in to the wayward son. At 16 Leonardo was a changed person, the teachers at the boarding school didn't take well to his behaviour and the punishments, though many, eventually sank the message home. At 18 he graduated from the school in the top 2% of the class and went home to what he thought would be a warm welcome. His sister Sofia had aced every class she took and his parents were more than happy to remind him just what he could have achieved had he knuckled down and paid attention. Sofia went off to art college outside Rome, Leonardo went to cooking college outside of his hometown where he would frequently visit home to test his new culinary talents for them. Regardless of how hard he tried it just wasn't enough and his parents dogged him with his past. The day he was eligible to enlist Leonardo went to the Starfleet Recruitment Centre unbeknownst to his parents. He aced the aptitude tests and one of the options offered was Medical. Having no interest in medical before but knowing that becoming a Doctor would forcibly alter his parents ways towards him he leapt at the chance and was soon sent to Starfleet Medical Academy. This was a strong motivator albeit a wrong one to take during his years of study and as much as he wanted to prove his parents wrong he also came to appreciate the medical sciences. When he graduated he was a medical professional and Valedictorian, he was about to flaunt his accomplishments to his parents, rub it in, get them back for the years of putting him down, to tell them they were the reason he tried so hard to excel but when he saw his parents again they didn't look the same. His mother looked sickly and them medical training kicked in, his mother was suffering Stage 3 lung cancer that had spread throughout her body. All that could be done was to make her comfortable towards the end which plagued Antonio for a long time. He was assigned to the U.S.S. Donnington as a Lt.Jg Medical Officer, it was a difficult assignment as it took him away from his ill family to which he was now qualified to help. After several years on board he was able to take leave but it was too late. Returning home a Lt he hoped to surprise his family but to his horror His Mother Valentina was dead, his Father also now sickly having devoted every minute to caring for his wife until the end. He took a leave of absence to care for his Father but his Sister, too busy with her own career hardly made an appearance. Things between them have been strained every since. When he returned to Starfleet Command he looked at the assignment board where he would find his next posting, the U.S.S Triumphant as Assistant Chief Medical Officer. Now 28 Leonardo took another step in his road of his future. |
