| Strengths & Weaknesses | Kenneth is very enthusiastic person. He is driven with ambition, but has a heart of gold. He loves to others out with a generous heart, when they need it. He is hopeless romantic. Hoping someday to find the right woman.He has an extrovert type personality. His open extrovert type personality has made it little difficult for him to find relationships. He has two relationships that have failed .His longest relationship was three years. Kenneth can be very driven in the workplace, trying to prove to his fellow co pilots, that he is just as good as they are. He is constantly seeking their approval, and hates to be alone. So a lot of nights he can be found in the bar, not because he likes to drink. He prefers it over staying alone in his quarters. He has a strong code of honor, he believes in the motto, “Death before Dishonor.” Kenneth has an unhealthy fear of spiders. He has been working on it, but luckily in spaceships, there are no spiders, which in part is a big reason why he wants to be assigned to a starship. His current emotional status is best described as, “Contemptuous.” Kenneth ended his relationship with Stacey Josie Beck, because he did not believe that a long distance relationship could work between them. They struggled with the Separation, when they were both at the academy. He kicks himself for leaving a great woman, and does not like to really talk about it. He just needs time to get over her, and move on with his life. | Personal History | The Early Years: Kenneth was born on Wednesday, 7th Jan 2370, to Jerome Randy Henderson (Deceased) and Ellis Rose Henderson (née Sanders). He was born and raised in San Francisco. His parents were both starfleet officers, serving at Starfleet Headquarters. After his father died when he was young, by the hands of the Dominion, at the age of 3. After his father's death, he was raised by his mother. They continued to live in their home in San Francisco. Kenneth really missed his father, and luckily for him, his older brothers and sisters really looked out for him. Especially his half brother, Rory Grant Henderson. There is a 12 years age gap between them. Rory felt it was his responsibility to look after his baby brother at the age of 15. Even though his father died at a young age, the event kept all the siblings close, and his mother raised all the siblings as her own. Rory’s and Fiona’s mom died during the same event that killed their father. Kenneth really was grateful to Rory for always looking out for him, and he remained close to the family, even after he left for Starfleet, he was assigned to Earth Spacedock, to help raise his younger siblings, which made Kenneth very happy. Kenneth had a happy childhood, despite losing his father at a young age. He learned from a young age that he had a Extrovert type of personality. He got a long with almost everyone, but found it hard to date anyone in middle school or even high school. His closest friend growing up wsa Jamie Sullivan his best friend. Jamie and Kenneth became friends in 2378, just a few years after the Dominion War, and when Kenneth was just 8 years old. From the first time they played together, they were inseparable throughout grammar school, middle school and high school. For the most part Kenneth was a good kid with an average intelligence as he put it. He scored a 98, which was good enough to get him into Starfleet Academy after graduation. Before completing high school and at the age of 16, his as a receptionist at an art studio in San Francisco. He mainly worked their to get close to the parents of Anisha Astrid Poole a girl he liked in high school. They started to date his senior year of 2388.Sadly their relationship only lasted a year, and he realized there was more to relationships than physical beauty. They broke up when Kenneth left for Starfleet Academy. The Meaningful Friendships: Name: Jamie Zak Sullivan Lifespan: 2367 - present Relationship Status: Friend Occupation: Starfleet Security Officer Current Age: 22 Jamie and Kenneth have a very firey friendship. They love to loud and rowdy and party up the night. But during the day, they are both professional. Their friendship almost has a jackel and hide feel to it. The two of them were inseparable during his youth, now both of them are starting their careers. Jamie wanted to be a security officer, while Kenneth wants to explore becoming a fighter pilot. Jamie was a typical young male, he was a little rowdy, but like Kenneth his is very loyal to those he calls a friend. In a lot of ways, they are both identical, with the minor difference, that Jamie rather uses the ladies, and Kenneth is a hopeless romantic. Jamie started to date younger cadet, and a friend of Kenneth’s. The young lady known as Karan Katu Simpson. That relationship, seemed to settle Jamie down a little, by the time of his graduation, they were in love, and the big plans that Jamie and Kenneth had about being assigned to a big cruiser went out the window. Jamie got himself assigned to Starfleet Headquarters. While Kenneth was assigned to the USS Triumphant. Jamie wanted to be close to Karan, and try to make things work out. Karan Katy Simpson (Lifespan: 2375 - present) Occupation: Starfleet Cadet: Sophomore Grade, Operations Current Age: 19 For the most part Karan and Kenneth got a long. At first he was really jealous and upset at her, because she choose to date Jamie. He did not like sharing Jamie’s attention. But he quickly got over it, especially when he could tell they were a perfect match. She was making an honest man out of him, which made Karan very happy. Karan meet Kenneth and Jamie in the Fall of 2392. She enrolled as a Freshman, while Jamie was a senior. They really hit off right away, and almost over night, fell in love. For the most part Kenneth and Karan got along, once he got past the jealousy. Karan and Jamie are still dating in 2393, he is assigned to Starfleet Headquarters as a Security Officer, while she is completing her sophomore year, at the academy. Kenneth said goodbye to the two of them in the summer of 2392, and set course for the USS Triumphant. It was going to take a few months to catch up to her. Relationship with Parents: Ellis Rose Henderson (née Sanders) (Lifespan: 2345 - present) Relation Mother Occupation Cleaner Age 48 Kenneth has a good relationship with his mother. Generally speaking its very harmonious. He worships his mother, and has a lot of respect for her. She raised 5 kids practically on her own, and manage to keep her sanity, and career in Starfleet. His mother recently was promoted to Captain, and assigned to a starship. Once Kenneth went into the Academy, she became a first officer, and just this past year, was given a command of her own. While growing up, Ellis was very supportive and nurturing to her five kids, well 6 if she included Jamie. He was always over, spending time with her youngest child. She did the best she could to raise them right, and help them grief for the loss of their father. She never remarried or dated after Jerome passed on. She had way to much on her plate. Jerome Randy Henderson (Lifespan: 2340 - 2373) Relationship Status: Father Occupation: Starfleet, Astrometrics Officer, Lieutenant Commander Age Died in 2373 at the age of 33. (Would have been 53.) Cause of death: KIA when the Dominion attacked Starfleet Headquarters Kenneth never knew his father. He does have several videos of his father, and the memories that his siblings shared. He wished he could have known him. Jerome sounded like a great man, and the videos show a warm hearted and caring man, that cared a great deal for his kids and for his wife, who happened to be Kenneth's mom. They had spent a lot of time together while their father was alive, but contact dwindled after that. She was struggling to cope with the loss of their father. She remained in the picture, by coming to family events, but after Ellis took re assignment they fell apart. Kenneth hopes to re connect with his sister soon. Rory Grant Henderson (Lifespan: 2359 - present) Relation Half brother (shared father) Occupation Gym assistant Age 34 The relationship between Kenneth and Rory was solid. They had spent a lot of time together while their father was alive, but after his death. Rory took on the role as lead male role model for the family. At the age of 15 he helped his younger siblings. Rory chose assignments close to home, almost sacrificing his career. But now that his siblings are all grown, he is decided to refocus his life, and try to get a command of his own. At the age of 34 he is still a Lieutenant, but has signed up to take his first deep space assignment, and department head. Kelly Katie Henderson (Lifespan: 2367 - present) Relation Sister Occupation Carpenter Age 26 Kelly and Kenneth have the same parents, and mostly got along growing up. Kenneth grew up as the baby in the family, where Kelly felt like the middle child of the family. They had a few spats here and there. But they are very close, and try to keep in contact once a week. Jonny Martin Henderson (Lifespan: 2368 - present) Relation Brother Occupation Plumber Age 28 Jonny was very jealous on how much time Rory would spent with Kenneth, because of this, Jonny would spend a lot of time being rebellious and seeking the attention of Rory. Later in life, the two brother made up, and became one solid family unit. Kenneth likes Jonny, and thinks he has a very creative mind. Former Partners: Anisha Astrid Poole (Lifespan: 2364 - present) Relation Ex-girlfriend (1 year : 2388 - 2389) Current Occupation: Chef Former Occupation: Sous chef Reason for breakup Anisha felt jealous of other people looking at Kenneth Age 29 Kenneth first met Anisha when she was 23 years old. They meet in 2386, at the time she was a Sous Chef, when he was still 16. He instantly had a crush on her, and tried pursue, but she shot him down, because he was a minor and she was an adult. Kenneth did not give up on trying to pursue her. He got a job working at her parents restaurant, and every day he would talk to her, and try to woo her. He built this fantasy in his head of a life with the two of them. In 2388 Anisha and Kenneth tried to have a relationship, but after they started to date, he realized they did not really have a chance. She wanted to stay on Earth, he wanted to join Starfleet, and fly the cosmos. He tried to presway her to join the civil corps, and become a chef. They could get stationed together. Kenneth quit her families restaurant to join Starfleet Academy and become a fighter pilot. Anisha and her parents, gave him there blessing, still to this day they remain friends. Stacey Josie Beck (Lifespan: 2369 - present) Relation Ex-girlfriend (3 years : 2390 - 2393) Occupation Cleaner Reason for breakup Kenneth felt he could get someone hotter Age 24 In the spring of 2390 Kenneth met Stacey Beck, a Senior Cadet at the at the Academy. She was was studying to become a medical doctor. She was only two years into her 6 year stay at the academy. The two dated until recently, when Kenneth left to meet up with the USS Triumphant. The distance was to much for Stacey. And she had started to grow feelings for another cadet. They agreed to end their relationship. The relationship between Kenneth and Stacey was not perfect, they fought constantly, and their schedules at the academy, were not always compatible. But they liked each other. However time apart made them realize they both deserved better. And deep down Kenneth knew that Stacey was not the one. She was someone to date at the academy. Kenneth hated being alone, and with Jamie dating Karan, he felt that he needed Stacey at the moment. But now that he was on his own, away from everyone. He could focus on finding the right girl. He had no idea where she could be or how to find her. The Academy Days: Kenneth started the academy in the Fall of 2388 and completed the academy in the Summer of 2392. He learned how to become a fighter pilot for Starfleet. He was trained on he Valkyrie class fighter and the Volga Class Runabout, which is not a fighter. He felt he needed a backup in case he ever wanted to switch careers and become a helmsman, and settle down. Kenneth joined Starfleet with his good friend Jamie Sullivan, but both of them choose separate career paths, that eventually lead them on different paths. While Kenneth was learning how to fly the Valkyrie and Volga class small crafts, his buddy was learning about tactical and security operations aboard a ship or a station. The two men kept in contact, after hours, and even though both men had girlfriends, they made it a point to keep in touch. They remained close throughout the academy. Sadly for Kenneth, when it came time for assignments, Jamie wanted to stay closer to the academy his girlfriend still had a couple of years. So did Kenneth’s but they tried for a few months before calling it quits in 2393. |
