In To Action

Posted on Sun May 21, 2017 @ 3:57pm by 2nd Lieutenant Gage Aravan & Lieutenant Colonel S'er'in'e & Major Kasia S'er'in'e

Mission: Avatar
Location: Marine Barracks
Timeline: MD 9 || 1500 Hours

S'er'in'e wasted no time in reaching as best he could the marine area on the ship, with all the malfunctions and the potential consequences of such rampaging the ship time was not a luxury he had. Even upright S'er'in'e could move at speed if required and he demonstrated this now as with the use of his tail to keep balance and help him change directions he sped his way to his destination.

When the doors opened it seemed that the Marine section had suffered a loss of gravity too as the area could be seen to be slightly messy. Some were already making efforts to clean up and make safe any equipment that floated about during the loss.

S'er'in'e had to initiate a trail of marines in cooperation with Security to relay orders, he also wanted to aid in sweeping the local areas and decks for wounded. If communications were down or impaired that a roaming medical patrol would help minimise casualties or at the very least, fatalities.

"Major, Master, to me."

Gage looked up when the call from the Colonel came through and he got to his feet and made his way to the office. The Caitian's habit of calling him 'Master' instead of his last name or by Master Sergeant was going to take some getting used to, but he had been through a number of Marine Commanders and this was just one more. He paused before the Colonel's office, checked his uniform and pressed the chime.

Kasia was, as usual, in the training facility when the call came through. She barked orders for everyone to continue what they were doing, then excused herself where she met up with Gage at he door. "Aravan," she greeted, knowing she didn't need to press the chime as he'd already done it.

"Come." A voice of urgency clear to hear. When the doors opened S'er'in'e could be seen pacing in deep thought. "Major." A slight bow to the female. "Master." He greeted. There was work to be done.

"Master Aravan, I'd like you to coordinate with Operations to form a line of personnel from the Bridge to Operations, Engineering and anywhere else the Chief feels is suitable. With all the problems going on we need the flow of orders to be maintained, even if slowed." S'er'in'e spoke to the man.

"Major. Assemble everyone not used in the Masters efforts, roaming patrols with medics in each patrol. Go deck by deck from the keel of this ship up, coordinate your efforts with Security, Medical and Operations if you need to. Mag boots, medical supplies issued to all. If the gravity fails again they will be injuries or there could already be some from the earlier failure, action taken sooner will prevent fatalities." S'er'in'e spoke. "Questions?"

"No, Sir," Gage said. "Also, I tracked the source of the problem to the Comm Center, but after that, it vanished. I'll take the Privates and form a chain, Colonel and establish a line of communication that it would take a platoon of Jem'Hadar to break."

Kasia arched a brow at her orders. "Yes... what's going on?"

S'er'in'e explained the situation as it stood and as he knew it to be, which didn't take long. It did however paint a disturbing picture and one that was ship wide. "We need to restore some form of communication throughout the ship if systems can't be trusted. We also need to reduce casualties of possible, there are going to be many afraid civilians on board and they don't know what we do."

"I'll make sure to establish a line of communications to every department, Sir," Gage said.

"Unless there are any additional questions, let us get to work." S'er'in'e spoke triggering things into action.

With that, Gage headed out to gather the Marines he would need to be able to send at least two Marines to every deck and one dedicated for each department head.
