The redheaded EMH materialized in Sickbay with the slightly blue body of Commander Madelina Weisz in her arms and promptly took her to one of the biobeds. "The presence of a doctor is required," she stated as her holographic form flickered. "The presence of a doctor is required."
The EMH flickered again and cleared her throat. "The XO glows white in Medical tonight, blue lips is all that's to be seen. She got frozen by the computer and treated like a side of beef by the computer that thinks it's a Queen. The glitches are howling like this swirling storm inside. I can't keep my thoughts straight; Heaven knows I've tried!" she began to sing.
A Bolian nurse rushed over to help, caught up in the drama of the monent and partial to a song herself she continued:
"Don't be afraid, no need to fear, we will help her out now that she's here! no ailments that we cannot treat, The best in all Starfleet...."
The small form of Doctor T'Lara appeared standing over The two song birds.
"What is this?! Let her go! I don't want to hear anymore." It was a general misconception that Vulcans didn't have any emotions. They did, but suppressed them to varying degrees of success. Right now Doctor T'Lara looked somewhat annoyed.
"She has third and fourth degree frostbite," The EMH said after looking at the holographic biomonitor and the scan of Commander Weisz's body. Twenty percent coverage, plus damage to the fingertips in both of her hands. I recommend raising her body temperature up slowly and using a dermal regenerator on her hands."
"Are you capable of handling a dermal regenerator in your current state?" T'Lara asked the EMH as she moved past to the bio bed controls and erected A temperature controlled force field around the immobile XO.
"I am capable of doing that and much more," the EMH stated before she started to hum under her breath. Her uniform changed to that of a Major General in ancient Earth garb and she took an unneeded breath.
"I am the very model of a modern EMH of medical,
I've information on Klingon, Human, and general,
I know the President of the Federation, and I quote the viruses historical
From Earth to Vulcan, in order categorical;a
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters hypothetical,
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical,
About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news,
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse."
The diminutive Vulcan stared at her photonic colleague for a moment. Perhaps relying on the self assessment of a program that was obviously malfunctioning was not the most logical approach. As Chief Medical Officer she was ultimately responsible for all of the patients across both sickbays and any harm that came to them lay on her shoulders. She considered her phrasing for a brief moment as she finished programming the force field.
"Once you are done with Commander Weisz hands there you will go offline until called upon. Am I understood?"
"Just look at those hands," the EMH said as she ran a scan over them. "She really needs a manicure. It was probably done trying to claw herself away from that man on the bridge. Let me get her all prettied up and then I'll just scamper off back to my digital playground."
She scooped up a dermal regenerator and turned it before she started going over the Commander's hands while casting glances towards the Vulcan woman. "I swear, honey," she whispered confidentially to Maddy if the woman could hear her or not. "You really need to find a good woman who knows how to treat you right. Men aren't any good at all. Just look at your hands, all torn up trying to escape him. I would have done the same thing, though. You should have your pets neutered so they won't try to do male things to you."
Ten minutes later, the EMH finished regenerating the last of the damage, having gone through the feminist movement, suffrage and everything else that had been over and done with for hundreds of years. She had also applied a light teal nail polish to the redhead's fingernails and put tiny Commander pips on them and made sure that the cuticles and nails were properly done. Once she finished, she looked at the CMO. "All done!" she chirped happily. "If you'll excuse me, I'll be getting ready for my date tonight." With that, she vanished.
Another doctor came up to take over once the EMH vanished. "That thing has issues," the Bolian said with a shake of his blue head. "I'll take over from here, Doctor and get her in a healing field." With that, he began to prepare the Executive Officer to continue her healing.
